Labillardiere Peninsula Walk

The Labillarderie Peninsula walk is an invigorating six-hour, 18 km day walk.  The track circumnavigates the peninsula coastline, starting and finishing at the Jetty Beach campgrounds located in the South Bruny National Park.

Starting in the early morning, the walker is treated to melodious songs from the local birdlife.  By midday, the songs lessen, but the birds are still busy in the tree canopies.

The trek affords the walker excellent views of the Bruny Island coastline, the D'entrecasteaux Channel and coastal views of the southern Tasmanian coastline and takes you over Mt Bleak and crosses several beaches, including Hopwood and Butlers Beaches.
